The Vaessen Creative Score Easy creasing board is a functional tool for those working with paper - from scrapbooking and cardmaking, to creating invitations, envelopes, boxes and space decorations. It allows you to quickly and precisely make even fold lines, without the risk of tearing or cracking the paper.
With clear graduations in centimeters and inches and clear markings, working with different paper formats becomes intuitive and comfortable.
Thoughtful design and practical extras
The board offers a working area of about 30 × 30 cm (12 × 12"), which allows you to work freely with scrapbook paper as well as A4 or A5 formats. The open edge design makes it easy to position larger sheets.
The surface features auxiliary symbols (star, heart, smiley face) that indicate creasing lines for popular projects such as envelopes, card bases and gatefold cards. The meaning of the markings is described on the included triangular ruler.
A bookbinder's bone is also included for precise creasing and aesthetic finishing of folds. When finished, the accessories can be conveniently stored on the back of the board.
How to use the creasing board
- Lay the paper on the board, aligning it with the edges and scale.
- Choose the correct creasing line, according to the markings on the board or the instructions.
- Using the provided bookbinding bone, make a straight, even crease line.
- Turn the paper 90° and again align it with the markings.
- Repeat the operation until you have a set of creasing lines, and then fold the paper along the creases.
