A sheet of approximately 60x70cm of original certified foam under the brand name Foamiran. Produced in Iran, this foam is a wonderful material loved by more and more artists for making handmade flowers, among other things.
It molds beautifully with the help of heat. The most convenient way to get regularly shaped petals is to apply the cut shape to an iron. You can also use a heat gun. The heated foam can be applied to the molding for injection - a great method for giving realistic looking veins on petals and leaves.
The foam can be cut with scissors or cutting dieami for a nice cut line. Foamiran can also be cut with decorative punches for slightly ragged edges for a natural effect.
Popular methods for coloring foamiran include inking or coloring with pastels (oil and dry).
